Ergonomics/Job Demands Analysis – Physical and Cognitive Behavioural

Ergonomic Assessments
Ergonomic assessments and consultations can be completed for all jobs (e.g., office environment, industrial/manufacturing, health care).
Our ergonomic professionals assist with ergonomic risk assessments for specific jobs and work with various stakeholders on site (e.g., human resources, health and safety, leadership/management teams, engineering) to assist with:
  • Injury prevention
  • Reducing ergonomic risk factors for injury
  • Improving workflow
  • Link injury data to medical costs for a cost-benefit analysis to assist with ergonomic change decisions
  • Support the disability management process for stay at work, return to work and accommodation/job fit
Job Demands Analysis
Job demands analysis is a systemic procedure that quantifies and objectively measures the physical, psychosocial, and environmental duties of a job.
Our analysis will assist with the injury management process that includes the following:
  • Basis for identification of ergonomic risk factors and claims management
  • Development of stretching and strengthening programs
  • Designing safe job rotations
  • Disability management and stay at work and return to work planning including accommodation/job fit
  • Post offer/pre-employment testing design
Our ergonomic team and health care professionals are trained to complete evidence-based job demands analysis to determine compatibility between a worker and a specific job.
